29 Feb Nwabueze (“Eze”) Phil-Ebosie
Nwabueze “Eze” Phil-Ebosie is a Director in the Engineering and Smart Grid Organization. He is responsible for ComEd’s strategy to deploy advanced communication infrastructure (REACTS- Renewable Energy Advanced Control and Telemetry System) widely across the service territory to mitigate challenges the grid will face now and in the future.
Eze was promoted to Director of Engineering in January of 2021 to lead the REACTS program. Prior to REACTS, he was the Senior Manager of Transmission and Substation Engineering where he was responsible for leading teams that provided engineering designs and support for all ComEd Substations in both Distribution and Transmission levels. Apart from that, he was the Category Manager responsible for developing and implementing investment plans directed to improve Substation Performance.
Eze is a proven leader with a track record of implementing innovative changes in the various departments that he has led. He also has an extensive background in system operations due to his tenure in Testing and Commissioning Engineering department where he commissioned various complexed systems and brought them online to support ComEd system operation needs
Eze graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He has been a part of the ComEd team since February of 2006.
