Roger Bryant is an IT Project Manager in Telecom Services at Southern Company, an electric and gas utility holding company based in the southeast. He joined Southern Company’s subsidiary Georgia Power as a telecom engineer after graduating with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1976. He also received a Master of Science in Management of Technology from Georgia Tech in 1996. Roger has spent his entire career at Southern Company in IT roles that include Telecom Manager, Architect, Business Analyst, Budget and Accounting Manager and Infrastructure Planning and Engineering Manager. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Georgia.
Roger currently serves as chairman of the UTC Board of Directors. He has been a member of the board since 2011 and has served as Audit Chair and Public Policy Division Chair and as secretary/treasurer and vice chairman of the board
