Naisla Kanduri graduated Summa cum laude from UNC Charlotte, with a degree in Communications and a minor in journalism. Post-graduation Naisla worked at Coca-Cola and Belk Inc. as an event specialist. Naisla currently works as a Product Owner role for the VirtualCrew, a Product by Duke Energy One. The VirtualCrew develops virtual reality training and qualification applications for various industries. Naisla also launched and leads the XRLab community outreach program by showcasing the different career opportunities in Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality to young students. Naisla was named as an Emerging Leader for Utilities technology council in 2020. Naisla is also the Co-Chair for the Latinos Energizing Diversity board and volunteers by speaking at schools about the importance of Latinos and Women in STEM, she is also UTC Region 3 Vice Chair. Naisla is part of the LAWA scholarship board and recently enrolled in the UNC Charlotte MBA program.
