Matt started his career in 2005 at Sprint Nextel in Overland Park, KS before coming to the utility industry. He’s worked at NPPD since January 2011 as a Telecommunications Engineer doing work on phones, data, and communications backbone systems. He transitioned into his current role as the Telecommunications Manager in April 2020 with all Engineering, Field, and NOC responsibilities reporting to him. Matt has bachelor’s degree from University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Electrical Engineering & a Master’s in Engineering Management. He also currently serves as UTC’s Technical Division Chair.
