Josh Simmons served in the U.S. Navy and went on to specialize in mission critical communications systems worldwide. As a licensed Professional Engineer, he worked for Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative (SMECO) for over a decade and was responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of RF, fiber-optic, and IP networks. As founder and CEO of Cogito Innovations, Josh continues to design and support mission critical communications and deployable systems for utilities, public safety, and the U.S. Department of Defense.
