Bob Strasser, Technology Director for Itron Inc., Network Products Business Unit. Leading a small team of engineers in the exploration and evaluation of emerging technologies for potential application in Itron’s world-class energy, water, and smart city systems. A long-term (34 years) employee of Itron, I led a wide variety of development teams over the years in nearly all of Itron’s product segments, including a four-year assignment in Europe leading smart meter developments in France and the UK. I have an undergraduate engineering degree from Southern Illinois University and hold an MSEE from Gonzaga University and an MBA from The New York Institue of Technology.
