ABOUT THIS EVENT
A case study: Transitioning from a TDM/SONET system to a IP communication critical infrastructure system. This study will discuss the process this utility took to replace its old operational critical infrastructure system with a new IP operational system including discussion with other internal system owners for SCADA and relaying. We will then discuss the steps to select a vendor and our process with the vendor to test, train, install, and place the new system into operation without taking parts of our old network to move to the new system.
