A message from UTC President and CEO Rusty Williams about the upcoming T&T Conference

Dear UTC Telecom & Technology Attendees,

I appreciate your commitment to joining us at this year’s conference in Long Beach, California. We are aware of the ongoing civil unrest in certain parts of the greater Los Angeles area, and I want to take a moment to address any concerns you may have.

Your safety and well-being are our top priorities. While most of the recent events have been concentrated in the downtown Los Angeles area, UTC is working closely with the City of Long Beach, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Long Beach Convention Center to understand the risks, if any, for our conference.

Each department in the City of Long Beach is committed to providing a safe environment for its citizens and visitors to the area. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and ensure that all appropriate safety measures are in place should we need them.

We understand the importance of feeling secure, especially while away from home. Our team is here to support you and is available to answer any questions that you may have. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly or our meetings team (meetings@utc.org).
