Tania Daniel is the Senior Director of Entrepreneurship Initiatives for Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas, and under her leadership, the JA Company Program and related special events have witnessed record growth. She previously served as District Director for one of her organization’s largest territories, Fort Bend, and outlying areas, setting new records for expansion and outreach. Prior to joining Junior Achievement, Tania worked extensively in areas of CSR, Human Rights advocacy, arbitration, sales, Nation-building, and reconciliation. She holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from the University of London, specializing in International Law and Human Rights Law. Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Tania reflects that the brief time spent in the Northern war zones as a research intern, while studying for her B. A in English at the University of Colombo was a life-changing experience and ignited her passion for the Right to Education. Tania is an honoree of the 40 Under 40 Class of 2021, recognized by the Houston Business Journal, and is passionate about supporting teen business leaders in her community. She is also a member of the JA Worldwide Fellows 2021/22 cohort of leaders. In her spare time, she loves going for walks with her rescue dogs and watching World War II documentaries.
