With 26 years of experience at Cobb EMC, David Fowler serves as Coordinator of Distribution Communications, overseeing the performance and reliability of the cooperative’s critical communications infrastructure. He is responsible for ensuring that SCADA, AMI, and voice radio systems at tower sites operate at peak performance, as well as programming mobile and portable radios to support field operations. David also ensures full compliance with FCC and FAA regulations, safeguarding operational integrity and regulatory adherence. Over his career at Cobb EMC, he has gained extensive expertise working with substation equipment, power line communication systems, and base station radio equipment at tower sites, contributing directly to the efficiency and resilience of the utility’s distribution network.
