Brett Heather Freedson is an advocate and advisor to utility companies, with expertise in infrastructure-related matters, including pole attachments and collocation. Brett has represented utility companies before federal courts of appeal, and informal complaint and policy proceedings before the FCC and state public service commissions. She also served as outside FCC counsel to a coalition of electric utility industry associations. Additionally, Brett advises infrastructure providers on transactional and regulatory matters critical to the deployment of broadband and 5G. Brett has served as counsel to both investor-owned utilities and internet service providers in their collaboration on rural broadband deployment projects, and their negotiation of related agreements. Brett also has handled regulatory matters related to the FCC’s RDOF program.
