Certified to Connect: Validating Trust Across the Grid

Certified to Connect: Validating Trust Across the Grid

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and utilities face a critical question: how confident are you in the cybersecurity posture of the suppliers supporting your OT, telecom, and cloud environments? This KALEN™ and UTC Academy by Rosenberger webinar brings together the International Society of Automation (ISA), the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), and a utility cybersecurity leader to unpack what recognized third-party certifications, including IEC 62443 and CSA’s AICM, validate and how that visibility supports stronger supplier evaluation and risk-management decisions. Speakers will cover the current threat landscape facing critical infrastructure, how to interpret a supplier’s certification status, and a real-world utility perspective on incorporating certification visibility into procurement conversations. Attendees will leave with a practical way to evaluate supplier cybersecurity maturity, organized by UTC’s GRID Framework.
