13 May Campbell Baskin
Campbell Baskin is the Utilities Technology Council’s Legislative Assistant. He is responsible for the monitoring of legislative activities taking place before Congress and federal agencies, while educating members about recent legislative developments. Campbell also meets with utility members, various interest groups, and Congressional staff, advocating for key telecommunication, cybersecurity, and other communication-related and public policy issues.
Campbell comes to UTC after interning with two offices on Capitol Hill, Rep. Gregory Meeks (NY-05) and Rep. Josh Harder (CA-10), and with experience in foreign affairs, financial markets, and agriculture policy. He is the staff liaison to UTC’s Public Policy Division, Utilisite Committee, and UTC Africa.
Campbell received his bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary, Williamsburg, Va. When not at UTC, he actively trains for half-marathons while spending time with his friends and twin sister.
