Gautam Talagery drives Solutions and Network Transformation in his role as CTO for Utilities at Ericsson’s Emerging Markets organization. Gautam is based in Plano, TX, and has lived in Stockholm and Bengaluru as part of his global assignments with Ericsson. He loves science fiction, is passionate about technology and the environment.
Gautam has been with Ericsson for more than 25 years. His previous positions have been in the areas of product design, 3GPP telecom standards, Java standards, product marketing, system design for public safety solutions, and business development roles for Ericsson in both Multimedia and Wireless arenas. He was actively involved in the launch of 3G and 4G in the US market and has advised multiple global customers in the technology evolution of wireless, multimedia, and communication as part of his global assignments with Ericsson.
Gautam has a Masters of Business Administration, MSEE from the University of Texas and is presently studying Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at the University of TX at Austin.
