Edward H. Diggs graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He joined Dominion Energy in 1996 and has held numerous positions in the areas of Electric Distribution Design, Distribution Right of Way, Distribution Finance, and Dominion Six Sigma. Mr. Diggs was most recently Supervisor – Electric Distribution Design for Dominion Energy Virginia and assumed his current position as Program Manager – Rural Broadband for Dominion Energy Virginia in August 2019. In this position, Mr. Diggs is responsible for establishing and managing the Rural Broadband Pilot program for Dominion Energy Virginia. In addition, he is responsible for establishing partnerships with non-governmental internet service providers where Dominion Energy would serve as the mid-mile provider to bring broadband capacity to unserved areas of the Commonwealth.
