Northwest Territory/Utility Broadband Workshop – Part II

Northwest Territory/Utility Broadband Workshop – Part II

UTC is positioned at the intersection of energy and telecommunications, and broadband infrastructure is increasingly becoming an inherent part of utility telecom.  Utilities are deploying broadband networks to provide broadband services or dark fiber commercially, and at the same time, they are also using broadband to support their private internal utility telecom needs.  Broadband provides the capacity that utilities need to support an increasing array of utility telecom internal operations and applications, and conversely, utility telecom provides the foundation for commercial broadband services to operate and be offered cost-effectively in unserved areas.  In short, broadband is not just about internet service.  In a very real way today, you can’t have utility telecom without broadband and you can’t have broadband without utility telecom.

That’s why UTC is holding its Utility Broadband Workshop in Spokane, Washington on November 3-5, 2021.  Whether your utility is using broadband for its private internal utility telecom needs or whether your utility is deploying broadband networks to offer commercial services, the UTC Utility Broadband Workshop has everything you need to succeed.  Similarly, if your company is selling broadband technologies and related services to utilities to support either commercial services or private internal utility telecom operations, the UTC Utility Broadband Workshop connects you with your utility customers.

The Utility Broadband Workshop will provide the latest developments in broadband technologies and deployment/operational practices, business strategies, and legal/regulatory policies.  It will also feature leading experts from utilities, technology partners and consultants, and government.  Don’t miss this power-packed in-person event, brought to you by UTC, the trusted source and resource for utility telecom professionals for over 70 years!

Location:  Historic Davenport Hotel
10 S Post St, Spokane, WA 99201
