UTC’s Smart Networks Council is a special forum created for utility executives responsible for implementing smart grid. This includes smart meter AMI deployments, demand response, distribution automation, home area networks for energy management and distributed energy applications.

The goal of the SNC is to create an environment where utilities can share their experiences in grid modernization and learn from others. The SNC is open to both utility members and their vender partners. We welcome case studies, white papers and other informational resources and intend to provide the same back to the SNC membership.

Membership in UTC’s Smart Networks Council is open to employees of all UTC member companies. . Membership in SNC is free to all UTC core utility members. Associate membership in the SNC is also available to equipment manufacturers and other companies that support utility networks.

If your utility is interested in joining SNC or helping to lead this important infrastructure evolution, please contact Membership@utc.org
